Hey friends!
My name is Micalla Davis and I am a sophomore at Maryville University. I am an interior design major and this is my first semester in St. Louis-and I am loving it! "Home" is back in Kansas City: Overland Park, Kansas (yay!), to be exact. I really enjoy my family, friends, running, making art, watching Food Network, and San Diego!
San Diego is dear to my heart because I spent this past summer there on a Summer Project. If I were to sum up my San Diego summer in one word I would have to say: satisfied! During the whole process of deciding, planning, and being and living there for ten weeks, the Lord taught me what it really means to trust in Him. On summer project, I shared my faith for the first time, built deep and meaningful relationships with excellent women, and was able to see the blessings and fruits of spending time with the Lord on the bay each morning. God has also opened my eyes to areas of my life that need maturing and growth.
Here at Maryville I have been able to work along side with some great friends as we try to reach our campus for Jesus and trust that He has great things in store. I especially enjoy being on the prayer and training ministry team, as we meet together and ask the Lord to guide and bless us as we reach our friends and classmates with the love and grace of Christ. I am excited to see how the Lord moves in great ways not only here at Maryville or St. Louis, but also as He does great things across the nation and around the world!
