Kara Lee

So... a little about myself. I'm a senior this year at William Woods University in Fulton. I'll graduate in December with a degree in Exercise Science and I'm looking into grad school after that - still really praying about exactly where God wants me! I'm originally from Columbia, MO, so I'm not too far from home. My family is so important to me! Hmmm...what else.... my favorite color is red; I love chocolate, and I really love to sing and play the piano to unwind and relax.

Just this semester I've been so excited to see God at work in so many different ways, both in my own heart and life and on our campuses. First of all, I just stand in awe of the Lord when I think about all He's done for the Greek community here at WWU. It's incredible to me that we now have a Bible Study going on in all four of the sorority houses here! This has been a huge encouragement in my own life, and I love meeting with the girls in my house and hearing them ask questions about God and about their personal relationship with Him. Another thing that has been so refreshing this semester is the chance that I've had to meet up with some of the freshman girls who are getting involved in CRU. There are so many who have hearts for the Lord and just desire to grow! God has been so faithful! It is such a privilege to be a part of His work here at WWU and at WC, and to see Him moving in people's hearts and lives. I'm so excited to see what the rest of the semester brings!

"And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ - to the glory and praise of God." - Philippians 1:9-11

(God has definitely been using this verse a lot in my life lately!)

Hi Kara! You have been so busy your entire college career working for the Lord and helping others, that there is no doubt you will end up exactly where God wants you to be. Keep that intent to follow His will no matter what and it will lead you beyond frontiers you haven't yet imagined. Excellent quote from Paul - right to the point. As "A Course In Miracles" says over and over again, the only thing that is real is Love, because it is the essence of God, and the essence of who you (and all of us) are. Strive for that, all else is inconsequential. Go with God into the future, the best is inevitable.
